Christmas Caroling with the North Valley Community Association

On Tuesday I went to the Community Christmas Caroling event with my family at the Berryessa Library.  I would like to thank the North Valley Community Association’s Karen Navas, David Navas, Linda Chen, and Berryessa Library’s Mike Dines for organizing this event.  North Valley Community Association sponsored this successful event, with the children being the stars. Many of them had practiced with their parents, lighting up whenever they spoke about this event. We made multiple trips, first caroling at the Berryessa Library before caroling at a fundraising event for the San Jose Education Foundation.

As we get wrapped up in our daily lives, being part of events like these have the ability to slow us down and remind us of the better things in life. And especially during the Holiday Season, it’s the perfect opportunity to get into the Holiday Spirit. Even singing some Christmas Carols with your family will lift spirits and cheer!

And if you are more fortunate than others, now is the perfect time to give back to the community. There is nothing more satisfying than spreading Holiday Cheer by giving back. Even if it’s donating blankets, toys, clothes, or your time; helping those in need is the most rewarding contribution you can make this time of year.
